Can you generate income owning bitcoin?

It's not a feature of bitcoin or other digital assets. But there is a way that you can earn income from your digital assets. It's called yield farming and there are two ways that it works. You can lend your bitcoin to others who will pay you interest, and you can use your digital assets in something called staking, which is where you use your coins to help operate the system. Whether you're engaging in lending or in staking, the income you can earn can be anywhere from 4% to 10% per year. That compares pretty favorably to both dividend paying stocks, investment rental income and bank accounts. So talk to your financial advisor about lending or staking your digital assets.
